A tattoo is a ritual in ink: transformation made visible upon the skin. Honour the process and your living art will endure in strength, clarity and time
Before using Captain Fawcett’s Tattoo Salve, always wash hands thoroughly and ensure skin is clean and dry.
The body is a sacred canvas. Tend it with care before the journey begins.
For three days prior to your session, moisturise the are with Captain Fawcett’s Tattoo Salve. The fragrance-free blend of Rice Bran, Coconut and Sweet Almond Olis with Shea Butter is naturally rich in anti-oxidants to soften and condtion the skin.
Stay hydrated for at least a week beforehand.
Eat well, rest well and avoid the sun.

The first weeks are vital for healing as the ink becomes part of your own story.
Remove the dressing gently in the shower
Most of my clients choose this route.
Wash with warm water and a low-pH soap (no shampoo or shower gels)
Rinse thoroughly, then pat dry with a clean towel.
Allow the tattoo to breathe for a few hours before applying any product,
Ensure skin is completely dry, then apply a thin layer of Captain Fawcett’s Tattoo Salve. (Less is more)
Its soothing, anti-inflammatory blend calms irritation, supports natural healing and guards against dryness.
Apply up to 3x daily in week one, 2x daily in week two and 1x daily in week three.
The salve is not a barrier cream: it should absorb within 15 minutes, gently dad away with paper towel.
Avoid rubbing or picking the tattoo. If in doubt, consult your artist.
The art endures.
Use Captain Fawcett’s Tattoo Salve daily to nourish the skin, maintain suppleness and help preserve the strength and vibrance of your design.
